Willemin-Macodel at Micronora 2026: a global approach to high precision
At micron scale, precision is built at every stage of the production process. This is the global vision of high precision that Willemin-Macodel will present at Micronora, from September 29 to October 2, 2026 in Besançon. On our booth, we will highlight four complementary pillars: machining centers, automation, digitalization and services, including our new 808MT2 and our 508MT2 equipped with the MP-20WM.
Held every two years in Besançon, Micronora brings together the entire microtechnology industry around a broad multi-technology offering, from R&D and subcontracting to production technologies. The trade fair welcomes more than 750 exhibitors and over 15,000 professional visitors from 41 countries.
For this 2026 edition, we will showcase our global approach to high precision. This will be illustrated on our booth through our new 808MT2, our 508MT2 equipped with the MP-20WM, as well as the digital tools and services that support them.
Three solutions at the heart of the booth
At Micronora, the 808MT2 will illustrate our approach to multi-process machining in a compact format. With a footprint of just 1.4 m², it combines milling and turning, from bars up to 27 mm in diameter or in piece-by-piece production. It integrates a motor spindle reaching 60,000 rpm, as well as a 2-position pick-up unit, 0° or 90°, integrating a vise to enable complete machining in a single cycle. Its modular vertical tool/part/pallet magazine can accommodate up to 137 positions, offering greater flexibility for complex production and series changeovers.
Alongside it, the 508MT2 equipped with the MP-20WM will be presented in production to illustrate the integration of automation into the machining process. The 508MT2 combines milling and turning, with a motor spindle reaching 42,000 rpm and turning operations up to 6,000 rpm. It can machine from bars up to 65 mm in diameter or in piece-by-piece production. On the booth, the 508MT2 will demonstrate the dynamic machining of a sinusoidal shape (SINUS).
Digitalization serving performance
Micronora will also be an opportunity to present ENiO, our energy monitoring solution developed in collaboration with several Swiss partners. It makes machine energy consumption visible, readable and actionable, helping to better understand machine operation and identify optimization opportunities.

The performance of a machining solution does not stop at commissioning. Our support covers its entire life cycle, from project definition to commissioning, then training, support and performance optimization.
