Celebrating 10 years of our training center

This year, we celebrated the 10th anniversary of our technical training center, officially created in 2015, although the first apprentices had already joined the company back in 2009.
Today, the center welcomes 12 polymechanic apprentices, from 1st to 4th year, supervised by two dedicated instructors. The first two years are devoted to general mechanics, followed by gradual immersion in the company’s various departments. A model designed to “train more and train better”, as Romain Ribeaud, Production Manager and initiator of the project, emphasizes. With an exam success rate of 100%, Willemin-Macodel systematically offers a contract to graduates, who are highly sought-after on the job market.
To mark this anniversary, we organized the “Trouve ton cap” event, an open morning attended by over 100 participants, including almost 50 young people accompanied by their parents. Visitors were able to discover the trades we train for, talk to our trainers and apprentices, and take part in practical workshops to help them plan their professional future.
Beyond the celebrations, this event reflects a strong conviction: training is an essential pillar of Swiss know-how and the dynamism of our region. Today, Willemin-Macodel provides training in five CFC trades, and remains committed to supporting the talents of tomorrow, with passion and high standards.
